Cherry Vann

Cherry has been our conductor since 1997; she studied piano at the Royal College of Music with Peter Element and, later, Yonti Solomon. She has given many recitals in the Midlands and the North-West, and has performed twice as soloist with Bolton Chamber Orchestra.

In 1996 she played the 2nd Piano Concerto by Shostokovich, and in 2001 the Schumann Piano Concerto. She was one of the first women to be ordained priest in the Church of England, and is currently Team Rector of three churches in Farnworth.
